New 370Z Owner in Calgary

Good Morning all,

Wanted to say hey, I pick up my new car this afternoon. Moving from an 06 STi to a 370Z sport. Looking forward to a greater level of comfort. Glad to see a forum around to learn from and hopefully be able to contribute to.

Little late to the game for 2010? LOL. How about that snow over the past 2 days? Welcome and congrats on your new Z. Mine is definitely a garage princess for the winter. Are you guys driving yours in the ice and snow?

Nah, pretty sure this little sl#t is gonna be spending most of her time in my garage this winter.

I was curious though if anybody in Alberta would be interested in trading rear hatches with me ( magnetic black ). I have the full sport / nav package but I have to admit, I prefer the cleaner look of the Z without the spoiler. Just a thought..

wd40007 - welcome, which dealer did you buy from? We Albertans might want to consider listing up the places that we can get good parts and service from. Local places that we can all support, if the price is right?

Initially I started out at Sunridge Nissan but quickly found out that geographical convinience is still no match for sales staff that are concerned with customer satisfaction. I've been dealing with Stadium Nissan since then and from what I've seen so far, I would recommend them.

How about yourself?

Got Mine at Royal Oak, deal was okay I guess. Service has been acceptable, but they are close to me. Parts only seams interested in full retail?

So WTF Frozen? Git some pics of your damn car on here already

Congrats!! Just too bad the weather is so bad. Snow and the Z don't mix well.

Anyone know of places in Calgary that do purging and n2 filling of tires?

djpathfinder 11-20-2010 12:39 PM

Costco and Kal-Tire are a couple of national chains that I can think of. Can't comment on local shops.

Please dont fall for the hype, and please dont pay good money for Nitrogen in your tires, unless you are doing track days and the absolute predictability of expansion is required. It is a waste of money that has been very effectively marketed.

I could go on a rant about it, but rather if you have specific questions about it I will do my best to answer them.
