Hi all, new to the forum but need roof help!

Hiya, love my z but managed to break the roof a couple of days ago..the lovely AA guys in the UK managed to get it closed but it still thinks it's open so theres a hideous warning noise all the time I'm driving and the boot won't open either! No warranty so need help getting rid of the noise..any ideas???
