Hello

Hi I live in So cal and am a recently retired teacher, driving a little Toyota Peso and I am looking to buy a used convertible Z.

I am still trying to learn the differences in each and not really sure what model I want yet.

I do know I want a manual transmission and convertible, reasonably low milage and I think I read somewhere that the years 2007 and up were better for some reason so I guess I need to start reading.

Thanks

Rob

Toyota Peso??? Probably produced for the Califas and Mexican market only. Anyhow, welcome to Z-topia. Let us know when you take Z plunge.

I think he meant Paseo..lol. Anyway, Rob, 2007 was still the 350z. 2009 was the first year model for the 370 and 2010 for the roadster. I think for the improved models of the 370, the biggest complaint was the lack of an oil cooler. 2012 was when an oil cooler was included, but even then, the factory cooler was insufficient and most people install an after market cooler. Nonetheless, there are tons of 2010+ roadsters with low miles, guaranteed to provide tons of fun.

Welcome :hello:
If you are going for a roadster model make sure you check the Carfax to see if there has been any problems with the top. Those things are very expensive. Even if there hasn't been any problems you need to be aware of the cost to repair these things

Check out the Roadster section here on the forum for some insight.
