florida sports touring new to me
 
hello from florida ....
bought a new to me 370z 2009 sport touring with 60,000 miles
started adding mods to stereo already and have already ran into steering lock issue hatch not opening and water in my floor board and bcm via the wiring harness in to cab behind battery , main harness, harness grommet leaked water , when I ran it threw a car wash , new bcm and now trouble shooting the hatch issue but back up and running . im hoping im done with issues with the car as I love the feel of it and way it drives, Any ways hi every body ..

Welcome, sucks about the leaking. Put a nickel in each hatch spring and remove the hatch weight.

The hatch issue may be a blown fuse. Fuse location should be in Owner's Manual; will definitely be in FSM.
If the latch is operating, try xxAGAVExx's nickel-in-the-spring-boot suggestion. Several threads on this - search is your friend

Don't be surprised if you run into more wiring issues down the line. Once the connectors get wet, they will start to corrode.

I had a mini Cooper . Pushing 265 hp . Then when to trail Blazer for couple weeks now the z . I have a mk3 in the works just not enuff time in a day to finish it and I payed 15500

Yes I'm afraid of that. But I'll have deal with it as it comes I've looked at all fuses labeling but haven't had chance look it up in manual yet but I'm hopping that's all it is.. now just awaiting other water born Gremlins.. hatch worked fine before this water..

not a blown fuse no where in car so now looking at possibility they programed bcm wrong it worked fine when I dropped it off for them to replace bcm.
