Hi Everyone,

My beloved VW Golf GLS 1.8t (2001) died about 6 weeks ago after having faithfully served me since I bought it new 270,000 miles ago. It will me missed, I loved how it handled with full Eibach suspension including swaybar, full turbo back exhaust, and "ultra high performance" tires on 17" cheapo ASA rims from Tirerack.

I was not quite ready to look for another car as I had hoped it would last me several more years, but it was fun to start looking at new potential rides again. The 370Z was at the top of my list but my wife was not on board with me getting a two seater as we have 2 kids so I went back and forth looking at things like the Audi A5 V6, Genesis Coupe V6, Scion FRS, Mazda 3-Speed, no Golf though because it felt like I was cheating on my old Golf...but none of those cars made me very excited - at all!

I finally had to have a long talk with my wife about how bummed I was not being able to get a 370Z, she finally gave in. I am super excited!!!!!

Been looking all over the place (Autotrader; Cars.com; Cargurus; Edmunds; CarsDirect; KBB; Motominer; Ebay; Craigslist), but have not found my dream car ('09-'11, 370Z Coupe, Sport, Manual Transmission, White) just yet. Hopefully it will not take too long.

If you have any leads, please don't be shy to let me know.

I am Looking forward to being part of "the370z" community soon, in the meantime I will be using my Suzuki SV650 as my primary mode of transportation.

I have some exciting news to share...finally found a nice two owner 2009, 370Z coupe, Touring version with the sport package, manual transmission, white, with 39,000 miles on it. If all checks out with the pre-purchase inspection I'll pick it up on Saturday next week. The seller seems great and appears to have taken excellent care of it.

I'll be putting over 1,600 miles on it driving it back home to NYC from down south.

SO HAPPY!!!!!!
