New Z owner in AL
hey guys just got my 370Z last week it's a 2012 Touring. I came from a 2012 Jeep Wrangler which I beat up pretty bad. I actually wasn't looking at Zs but bought a used nissan titan from a different dealer and the next day it smoked and the engine seized so when it was at the Nissan dealer the Z caught my eye and after all the legal stuff with the Titan I was in the Z the same day.
I have post MAF tubes and K&N drop ins, have a K&N Typhoon here but might send it back for now. Ideally just want to do tubes, catback, uprev(if that's still a thing), and maybe some enkei wheels or wait til tax time and get some volks (no clue what the cool kid club wheels are these days.) I had a little scion tc like 6 years ago and it does feel great to be back in a small car since I was trying to drive the Jeep like I raced it. I went from washing the Jeep once every 6 months or so to my OCD just screaming anytime the Z gets dirty. I'm about to go claybar and have a good detailing day on it. Previous owner garaged it and interior is 99% condition but the paint has swirl marks but nothing bad. https://i.gyazo.com/5ed7e951c3ed16bc...c325569291.jpg |
Congrats and welcome! :tiphat:
MB is a great color, but you're correct, it is so hard to keep clean. Looks great when it is though. I just cleaned mine with a clay bar and waxed it the other day and it looks awesome. Also, you mentioned UpRev, but you might want to check out EcuTek. I did an etune with Visconti Tuning and couldn't be happier. |
Welcome to the 370Z forum
