Nissan 370Z Forum - My 2012 Pearl White Persimmon

Hello, I recently purchased a 2012 Touring Sport with Persimmon. It's great to finally be registered, I've been reading through the wealth of information contained in this site for the past few months.

It all started with an oil change at a local Toyota dealership for my girlfriend's Mazda 3. We were on our way to Savannah and I wanted to have the tires rotated as well. While we were waiting in the lobby I discovered the FRS. After that I caught the new car bug, and started reading up on the Toybaru. I considered an Evo for a minute, because I plan on moving to the northwest soon. But there's just something special about rwd sport coupes. I fell in love with my Z from the moment I first slid snuggly inside her. It's a perfect fit.

I used AK's thread as a guide for my first oil change. Went with Red Line 5-30 and K&N. Next week I plan on doing the diff and tranny with Red Line too.

First mod was little stick-on wide angle mirrors for the sides. Now I can safely change lanes. :-P

In browsing this site I actually found the car I ended up buying, it was posted in the private classifieds. I thought that was neat. It was owned by a member's mom, and all the service records indicate it was well maintained. The clutch is new, replaced under warranty before I purchased it.
So far, so good.

I absolutely love my Z. I look forward to contributing to the community.
