Throw a twin turbo kit on the Z and you won't miss the GTR THAT much. I know you can't really compare the two due to AWD and RWD, but let me tell you, a 500hp Z is more than fun.

Not bagging on the GTR. I love the car. I just know that ill never be able to afford one and do the things that I want to it. So ill stick to my beloved Z cars.

Cant you do the oil changes yourself? My buddy and I knocked out his OC in the His GTR frequently. His was an 09 so unless its some kinda factory warranty violation..its rather easy.... Im looking to buy a gtr in the next 6 months...break squeling huh...i never heard it from his...thats strange. Congrats on the Z, pearl white is the best haha

Better than pressing on the brakes and it not slow down and you just hear a slight thud when the pedal hits the metal lol

Tires go like butter! 10-15k. 15k is pushing it. Be ready to drop 2k on tires. If you have money to burn then go for it. The idea of it being a car you will keep forever is a nice thought but it won't happen. I had the same intention, trust me. I researched the car and would watch youtube vids dreaming about owning it. My dream came true last year. I paid 86k after taxes etc. It had 4k miles on it. I realized shortly thereafter that it wasn't a car I would keep forever. Insurance wasn't that bad but I have a sparkling driving record. I had 3 cars including the GTR and it was $220 a month for all 3. I'm also in my 30's so that helps I'm sure.

Plans so far are adding the paddle shifters which I'm in the middle of doing. I had the 6 speed manual when I bought my 2011. I ordered the oem paddle shifters online. You have to order the lower shroud from the touring model as it has the holes for the shifters. It was like 380 total (paddles and shroud).
I went to install on Saturday and I popped the two little tabs that cover the screws on the shroud. You can't take those off without damaging them trust me. I thought I could but I was wrong. The paddles didn't come with the nuts and bolts to attach them either. That was a nightmare finding the right sizes. So I went to order the oem left and right side tabs and they are out of stock at every dealer all over the country. Not sure when they will have in stock.. So far the first project hasn't been a smooth one..

You can do the oil changes yourself but removing the undercarriage panel is a pain. Access to the filter is not easy either. Filter is tiny. I'm not sure about the warranty though...

Do you have the part numbers on the oem left and right side tabs by chance?
