How's it going?

Hello, everyone. I'm Alex, and I recently just got a black '11 370Z Sport 6spd. I'm not a complete noob to the Z since my previous car was a black '03 350Z Enthusiast 6spd, but i'm certain there's a lot I need to learn about this wonderful car. Some minor "annoyances": The "springy" clutch pedal made me rethink my life for an hour. I honestly thought that my experience in driving stick was a lie. Also, the stock exhaust makes me sad. I never realized how much I relied on the sound of a louder exhaust to drive. But regardless, this car amazes me with it's speed. Coming from a lightly modded DE 350Z, the speed in the 370 is perfect (for me). I sometimes can't believe that there're cars out there that make the 370 look slow. Also, the seats are ridiculously comfortable compared to the 350Z's. I'm still getting used to the door staying open by itself instead of just closing by itself, as is the case with the 350. But to sum it all up, I have no regrets about this purchase.
(Apologies for the long introduction.)

Welcome, I have MB also. I hope you like washing cars because I don't. The pollen is almost over though here in Jacksonville. Have fun be safe:tup:

Hello there. Nice color choice. Gutsy. You know what I mean. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the community! I also came from an 03 350z and I had the same exact observations as you. The clutch was wonky, the exhaust is way too quiet, it seemed to make my 350z feel like a slug. Happy modding!

Thank you for the welcomes, it's truly appreciated.

I seem to have terrible luck when it comes to washing my cars; whenever I do it rains almost immediately afterwards. :shakes head: But, it's not so bad. I find washing a car to be somewhat therapeutic, and leads to a sense of accomplishment when done right.

I'm glad i'm not the only one. I thought for a second that I was unfairly complaining, but there's nothing on this vehicle that can't be remedied with some mods. Hopefully, driver mod will be first, then exhaust, oil cooler, springs, and round it off with some aero and wheels.
