New 370Z owner from NC

Hello Everyone I am a new 2015 sport 370z owner. I have always wanted a Z and finally got one, my old car was a 2010 accord v6 coupe. I am fairly new to the State of North Carolina. So if anyone wants to meet up to go on a cruise or something let me know.

First mods is a Valentine 1 Radar detector( Hard wired) and interior LEDs
I am wondering if an intake and a cat back will void my warranty I would like those 2 to be next.

Here are some pics

Welcome. NC has a great car culture, including some awesome C&C events, CMP and VIR. Also tons of speed shops (especially around the QC).

Welcome to the forum. Just remember to use the search button as much as possible when looking for stuff and don't be discouraged when an admin or forum member asks you to use it. Although my biggest gripe with that is sometimes people do not set the proper tags for their threads. Any way where in NC are you located? Just remember once you start modding you'll want to do more. Think realistically about your power goals so you don't waste money with bolt on's if going TT/SC/ST to meet what you want.

I am in Raleigh. I want modest gains with the stillen gen 3 and a decent catback, will be fine after that I will worry about looks, lowering springs and such, I am in love with the OEM rims it will be hard for me to find a replacement. I want to install the Stillen supercharger after I finish paying for the car.

Welcome! I am in Raleigh too, and also new to the area. Moved here from San Diego. I'm down to get together anytime. I work nights at a hospital (that's why I'm messaging at 1am) so PM me! Nice red Z. I also do detailing if you want to get your Z looking right for summer.

I'm in Raleigh, lived in Raleigh for 9 years in college and recently moved back - I'm originally from Charlotte. I love it here, also I have a huge typed up list of fun stuff to do in Raleigh if you're interested (I'm a big outdoors/food/beer/car person). It can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing We do have 18 breweries in town now to check out!

I'd love to meet up sometime and have a bunch of tools in my garage if you ever need a hand.

Nice to see Raleigh representing! I was worried I would be a lone Z, haha.

To echo what others have said about your car make sure you spend some time thinking about your "strategy" Will you eventually want big HP (Turbo), Will you want strong HP (Supercharger), Will you be satisfied with a quick NA car (Bolt-ons)?

Are you looking to track? autoX? enjoy backroads? all of the above?

Either way, you can't go wrong with a catback exhaust (i don't think this will void your warranty). another good first mod is a beefier front sway bar or sway bar set.

Edit: Also, I don't know a lot about how this group is now, but we/you might want to check out http://www.trianglezclub.com/ looks like they still have monthly get togethers. I know at one time they were pretty active.
