Got my 2014 Silver 370Z

So after finally selling my old altima, and looking on cars.com for months, debating whether I want to go used or new and deciding how much I can afford, I finally buckled down and bought a new 2014 Z. I got the Base plus Sport package and paid about 31k before taxes etc etc etc

I looked at 335i's, Mustangs, the Focus ST and some others before I finally decided on the Z. Honestly, I was never a fan of the Z...I dont know..I guess I didnt like the looks. But it grew on me and now I love it.

I have about 650 miles on her and I cant wait until I can open it up over 4k RPM's - yes, I am going by the owners manual break-in period:)

So far I love the car, except for the exhaust, which is wayy too quiet. I think im going to get an invidia or GRIP.

Anyhow, I have learned alot so far from this forum and hope to continue the trend!

Sorry the pics are terrible - im trying to sell my nikon dslr and have it packed up

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the family. Stock exhaust totally sucks!

You got a good deal on that purchase, at least better than mine.
Congrats

Well, that wasnt the "out the door price." After all the taxes...and junk it was like 35k

Looking good! I'm jealous of the prices new z's are going for. I think I bought during the most expensive production year-2012 :ugh:

Nice car! I bought the exact same thing, in white, I have about 500 miles on mine! Got the same deal - 31k out the door, there are no taxes here in OR! The 0% interest for 60 months helped too!

One suggestion - look into the clear bra if you plan to keep for a while, had a 350z and that front end gets chipped fast.

Ok, that makes me feel a little better.
I paid a bit over 36k out the door.
I couldnt get 0% got 0.9 instead through Nissan

Silver is my favorite color. I wanted that color but there wasn't one available at the time. Congrats and welcome! Now get that exhaust and add some wheel spacers. :)

OTOH, judging by the posts here, aftermarket exhaust has a tendency to rattle, break, or be difficult to install. The aftermarket might improve performance but it does come at a price and sometimes that price includes irritation and frustration.

I do agree about the clear bra. I was just thinking what a great aftermarket feature that is this evening as I was wiping the bugs off the front with nothing more than a little waterless wash and a microfiber cloth.

I dont think youve been reading the right posts lol.

OP go get yourself a Fast Intentions exhaust. Non resonated. Super easy to install, quality will amaze you and outlast the car. No rattles and sounds perfect:tup:

I'm sure not.

I do note that when I see a post title about some major or minor malfunction on a 370Z, I intentionally look at the post to see what mods have been done. I've generally concluded that in OEM unmodified form, the 370Z appears to be a remarkably trouble-free automobile.

I'm not saying that all of anything is causing anything.
