Buying a german car...

Should I buy an Audi A5 2010?

Chuck33079 03-26-2014 11:45 AM

So you would sell a 2014 Z for a 2010 Audi? No. Or you would be 17 and carry two car notes? No.

pedro_eskda 03-26-2014 11:47 AM

Yea another one

Kinda dumb to ask this question with a bunch of Z owners here. Insurance killing ya or did mom and pop add you to their policy?

What are your reasons to buy the Audi?

Chuck33079 03-26-2014 11:50 AM

That's complete waste of money either way. Don't do it. You've got a very nice car for a 17 year old. Buying another one is not a good use of funds. Maybe start saving up for a place of your own?

Lol you dont know me and I want another sports coupe so I can also ride around with friends but I just wanna know if there's other better sport coupes

No, I don't know you. That doesn't make being 17 with two car notes any more financially responsible. It's a stupid idea. Can you even qualify for the financing?

dP3NGU1N 03-26-2014 11:52 AM

no

You've got a great car already. Not being able to take a bunch of friends with you is a plus, not a minus. They can take their cars. Now, in order to fill out the rest of the "How to be knee deep in pussy as a teenager" checklist, you need a place of your own and cash in your pocket. Having two car notes, two insurance payments and the maintenance costs of a 4-5 year old used Audi will not be a step in the right direction.

I never said I knew you but you asked a open question.

You have to understand that us old farts that work hard for their money and buy a Z because they can afford it wonder why a 17 year is doing with a 370Z in the first place and then wanting another car. Sorry to insult you but if you post up on the forum with a vague question you will get comments like this from some of us.
When I was 17 my parents bought me a 70 Camaro.... What I wouldn't do now to have that car back. Be thankful for what you have pedro.

A 4 year old German car broke down on the side of the road doesn't quite get the ladies moist, now does it. I vote no also and agree with the above.

As a 17 year old, maybe. At that age you're fishing from a small pond. You may be catching a lot of fish, but it's a small pond. Things are about to open up for you. You've got a head start. Don't **** it up by taking on a lot of debt and expenses.

Basically, you're playing AAA ball. You're about to get called up to the majors (adulthood). Don't shoot yourself in the foot before you start.
