Just that new guy!

Hey everyone... I'm just that new guy...

Used to drive a lovely honda civic si 8th gen coupe... Drove it since I was 13... My brother taught me how to drive in it and i couldn't do automatic because of it.. I am new to the 370z and After driving the Si for a good enough amount of time I decided I was ready to move on to a rear-wheel drive car...

im from LA

fears:
oversteering(first time driving RWD)

I dont think I'm going to mod my car because of a lifetime warranty!!

I drive a 2014 mb 6mt

please take care of me guys

Sweet

Don't forget mods don't inherently void your warranty - denials of claims have to be reasonably well linked to a failure or damage cause by the mod. You have protections, particularly those provided under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. Dealerships don't understand consumer protection laws well and dispense a lot of bad advice, perhaps risk aversion on behalf of the customer. Don't take my advice, or internet advice alone, but do check out the laws that protect you and your car.

I too have a 2014 6MT (my second 370Z) and am modding away.

That would be a long drive Trips. But I think you have something special in mind. Invite everyone across the country to Cerritos. :tup:

I think for those of us in So Cal, we should allow Louisianans to use LA exclusively. Just a weird thought.

OP I forgot to welcome you. Enjoy your Z. We love our Zs and this community (except for JungleZ and friend).

I've always thought:

LA = Louisiana.

L.A. = Los Angeles

Grats and welcome!

For oversteer fears, go to an empty parking lot (preferably where you have permission?) and do a few hard turns to feel how the backend reacts. Do this with VCS off and then try it again while on.

Better to at least feel it a few times in a safe environment than to get all antsy on a public road and lose the back end. Be careful and have fun! :)

Thanks everyone!!

Yea i already called my sales manager on the front lip thing, he told me to bring it in this week during mardi gras to get it installed!

so far i'm loving my Z, its a very fun car, at first i freaked out because this weird sound i made driving up an incline and pressing the clutch really fast, but i researched and it turns out it was normal! due to a light flywheel?

and yea xD sorry i shouldve said louisiana

thank you everyone for the warm welcomes,

the only things i've done are super minor... like white led interior lights, reverse, and license plate :) for now ill just modify my shifting because the clutch feels so hard compared to my last car!

Welcome, lol I also came from 8th gen. Civic si. Loved it. I said the same thing when I got my Nismo. I'm already on my 2nd upgrade, stillen g3 CAI, and Ark grip exhaust. I'm working on getting Stillen UD pulley and tune soon. Good luck and she is a beauty.
