black 350 to white 370 :D
been on these forums for awhile now, but didn't want to post until i had something to post about. thanks to lots of you guys here, i was able to get treated right by a great dealership out in Fontana...so first off, i'd like to thank you guys for recommending Fontana Nissan to others looking to buy a 370.
so about me, i used to drive a magnetic black 350 base 6spd, but i recently f*cked my right wrist and wasn't able to shift into the even gears or engage reverse...so i parted most of it out and sold it to find an automatic. Since my rims and bbk were so new, i held on to them hoping it would fit my next ride. last friday, the 31st, i got my hands on a sweet deal from Fontana Nissan for a pearl white base/auto w/sport pkg. Instead of speaking with just Danny, who's awesome btw, i got an awesome deal with Duane, Danny and "Mr. Ed". so today, my HKS Hipermax III coils came in and well i guess +12's all around works fine...though i think i'm going to put in some spacers for the rear...and depending on the settling, if any, i may end up maxing out the rear coils to even things out. I did pull the front fender, by hand, just a little bit but honestly didn't need to...turns out that the front under wind deflectors were rubbing the ground from the bumps in the road instead of the fenders. and yes, my front under chin lip/spoiler thing rubs like crazy :( http://www.the370z.com/members/must-...ture6636-a.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/must-...ture6634-a.jpg |
Welcome and Congrats!

Very nice car, Hows the feeling knowing you dont have to work so hard to keep it clean and looking good now? hehe.
I fk'd my wrist up too in a motorcycle racing accident, I cant pick up more than say 20lbs on the arm, but I am lucky enough to be able to function normally with it. I'm sorry to hear about that :( . |
Nice. Not sure why some say +15 won't work when I have seen them work. Anyways, nice wheels and car!

Welcome aboard mate. I'm also a white auto owner. Hope all ends up well with your wrist.

|
thanks for all the warm welcomes. i'm sorry to hear i'm not the only unfortunate soul to have lost proper use of an appendage :(
i am looking forward to hearing from all of you for some future projects i have set aside as another means of income as i use my 370. will keep you guys posted as things evolve from concept to production...hopefully very soon :D peace Quote:

Where in socal you from? I live in Irvine |
that is a sick ride, congrats
|
Your car looks awesome! The wheels, color and stance make it look serioursly intimidating.
|
Must how do you like the ride from the HKS's?
|
honestly its a little too soft to me. in my 350 i was running the hipermax iii sport (track), and those were perfect for my driving style, though most 350 guys found it way to harsh.
i mostly drive locally which is why i say they're too soft, but on the freeway they're fairly good. the rebound is just right and theres considerable traction through the bumps/jumps. i hope that answers your question, im sorta drunk n gonna sober up playing blur for the next couple of hours. |
