Just got my Z and loving it!

Hey everyone! I got my 2013 370z 4 days ago and I've been loving it since. I had a 2012 convertible camaro but it ended up being a lemon. I honestly don't like the way the z roadsters look. The coupes are so sexy though! I had to give up the drop top but man was it worth it. I got to drive the camaro again today and it feel like a hippo on wheels.

Bone stock midnight black. Only options I have is a backup camera, illuminated kickplates, and matts. 29k + fees.

I don't have pics yet but I wanna get some upgrades first! White was my first choice. I wanted to black it out and go for the storm trooper look. But now I'm kind of lost with the black one. I'm open to suggestions :)

All I know for sure is I'm getting an exhaust becuase I can't hear the car at all, smoking the tail lights, and an alpine nav.

Congrats! :)

Star wars fan you are?

Hi

Business Kat 08-14-2013 08:35 PM

Actually not a big star wars fan. Just a big fan of blacked out white :)

Actually just finished "blacking out" my PW looks unbelievable over stock. With black car I personally think black on black is what only looks best, perhaps bronze or gunmetal wheels

Welcome. gotta disagree about the roadster though.;)

Welcome. gotta disagree about the roadster though.;) I agree the coupe looks better than the roadster with the top up but with the top down, we're talking pure "sports car."

I just traded my 2011 Camaro in on a z as well. Man, don't it feel like the lanes in the road got a lot wider with the Z? In the Camaro I was always trying to keep in within the lines, and scooting over for cars coming or trying the inside pass. And no more 2nd gear grind..... Lovin my Z as well. You got a heck of a deal on yours

Welcome :tiphat: and now you won't need a GPS to find your Camaro in the sea of 1000 other ones just like it :D.

Congrats on the new wheels. It's a bad *** car! And I agree with you on the roadster.. I'm not a big fan either.
Hopefully you'll get some pictures up soon, even if they are bone stock pictures. You've gotta start somewhere!

Ardent_Z 08-15-2013 01:51 PM

Welcome. Enjoy the Z!

You had the grinding problem too? Mine wouldn't go into first sometimes, the shift to second was a chore, and third would grind. Not to mention the windows wouldn't roll up, the ipod would just cut out sometimes, and the audio information would get scrambled (just to name a few things).

I turned my car on today and it thinks that the handbrake is always engaged so it won't stop beeping at me while I drive. It'll be 5 days before the part comes in. I just have terrible luck with cars I guess...

I attached a picture of the night I bought my car. Obama just happen to be there :p

OMG it is Obama :ughdance:

A beeping handbrake is nothing compare to the problems the camaros have. My God, I love shifting this thing, and hated shifting the camaro; every shift had to be thought out from first to second or second to third. Yea, I miss that, NOT! Nor do I miss the creaky seat, or squeaking window.
This car feels oh so much tighter and precise. Throttle is so smooth, I never driven a stick shift so smoooth. And I dont have to worry about when the timing chains stretch
and every winter the radio screen would go hairwire, but that's normal. really?
