2009 370Z Nismo Z34 09 0001
HI Everyone,
I just wanted some feed back about the 370Z I purchased. The Nismo tag is the title. I haven't done any research but soon will and figured I would jump on here. Its brilliant Silver and it was delivered from california. I was thinking about lowering it and putting a few after market parts on it but a friend of mine said not to because its a Nismo. All feed back would be helpful thanks for reading. |

You have member #0001's car Mod it!!! He had it modded |
What rotors do you have???
Btw, you have Stainless Steel lines for sure, and if you want your OEM rotors, pads or lines, give me a shout, LOL |

Welcome to the site! |
I figured the 02sensors had to be replaced and the front tires were already worn out. He had some fun in it. I picked it up with only 14,000. What all did he do to it?

Yep, O2, cats and the manifold. I'm just a little bummed out that this guy moded it out. I figured this was The Car based on the plaque. Its all stock now though and fixed. I could understand if it was the #313 or something but #0001 a little ridiculous and naive, lol.

The manifold AND cats are shot??? How do you know that? The guy did track the car too... But he's a good guy too |

I know I don't... OP, just drive the car... Then drive it harder... And when you think you drove it hard, go out and try it again knowing the car has another 30% to give! Lol |
The check engine light came on a day after I bought it. Took it into the dealership and initially it coded for the 02 sensor. Then the check engine light came on again and it coded for the exhaust manifold and cats. The dealership replaced all of it under warranty. I'm sure he's a good guy, not questioning that. I bought from a dealer but now I know why all this stuff popped up. It was a little frustrating at first, wondering why all this was going off with a car that only had 14k miles on it. I figured it was driven hard before the front tires showed the signs of that and he had to have put racing fuel in it as well if he tracked it thats why the 02 sensors popped. This is all good to know. Thanks a ton for the info I appreciate it.

Well, the O2 sensors probably died not because of race gas (I REALLY doubt be did that) but because he had test pipes.
And exhaust manifolds... I bet the dealer just wanted to make some extra money, LOL! Just be happy you got new crap on your car! Lol!!! |
I get it about driving the car and even tracking it. Like I said initially I had planned on modifying it to begin with knowing that I had the problems that I did. But when my friend who is a crazy Z enthusiast told me what car I ended up with I got crazy excited and bummed at the same time because now I didn't want to mod it out. Would you do this to the #1 shelby cobra? Even when they first came out the people in that circle knew how special that car was. This Z is the first off the line that put this car back as Nissan's flagship. Case in point the forum if the car wasn't that important then this forum wouldn't exist. Call me a grandma or whatever just making a point is all.

Trust me i am happy and thanks again for all the info. No hard feelings lol
