New 370 Anniversary edition owner

I just picked up a new 370ZAE I haven't picked up the car yet. I bought from a dealership with out test driving it. I am over seas in Afghanistan right now however, I will be returning home soon. I am very excited to be an owner of such a iconic vehicle. I live in the Destin area of florida. If there are any car clubs in or around the area please some contact me I would love to take a cruise and meet up with some fellow owners. I picked up a OEM titanium shift knob and a STS turbo system for the vehicle. I am on the fence with changing the exterior of the car. Seeing that is 1 of 1000 of this model I don't know if I could ever bring myself to doing so. We will see in the future. If I do change the outside look of the vehicle i will store all the original parts to her. She doesn't have a name yet we will see how she treats me after a few weeks of driving her. Hello everyone it is a please to be part of the club!

Hi

ZYCOPTH 02-22-2013 12:00 PM

Welcome to the Anniversary Club. I bought mine used as well about a year and a half ago. Did some minor mods under the hood, little cosmetic, and an exhaust with sway bars. Same boat as you, can't bring myself to change the exterior. Color match is one of the biggest concerns. Took her to the tail of the dragon and handled great. Changed the clutch pedal assembly and the car became even more enjoyable.

She is gonna be fun to play with. Envious of the TT setup.

We just started a Gulf Coast Z Club headquartered in Louisiana. U r more than welcome to look us up on facebook and keep in touch. We plan on having some meets in Alabama and I am sure northwestern Florida isn't too far out of the question.

Congrats on the purchase.

Thanks man, Thank you for the warm welcome. Lower Alabama is about two hours away from me. I have been up that way a few times. If i can convince the GF to come with me. We will for sure be there... Or I will be there hahaha. We should set something up for you all to drive down to the beach this spring/summer. We can show off our sweet rides to all the tourist.

Hello everyone! Thank You!

It's a rear turbo setup, and welcome :) I'm stuck in Earth's @ss hole as well. My Z is with GTM having some stuff done :) There is a lot of good info here. Look at people's journals, build threads, projects and tech area for help. I have my own journal with reviews, dyno's, and parts. Feel free to take a look. Be sure to use the search function before creating a new thread or DEpointfive0 will find you before the moderators do.

What's wrong with your old car? What 370Z Anniversary Edition serial number was it?

Congrats and welcome. I know STS is a cheaper kit but be warned. You need to remove the cats and add some resonators to release the kits true power. Trust me I know all about that kit and the headaches that can come with it. From the install to the tuning. I know talking with Marc that they have improved the kit from the one I had so good luck and enjoy her!!
