My Fairlady? =O
Hi all.
Been lurking for a bit. Even signed up a while ago, but never posted. Well, today shall be the day! Picked up a brand new 2013 Pearl White Z! I was previously driving a Black 2011 Altima 3.5 SR. I wanted a Z when I got it, but due to just moving to Austin and having non-amazing credit, I went with the Altima. Well, over a year and a half later, it was time for the Z! What's strange to me is that I've never owned a white car. My last 3 cars have all been black: 2006 300C, 2007 300C SRT8, and the aforementioned Altima. You ever wear black shoes for a long time and then put on white... and it just feels weird? Or vice versa? I think it's kind of like that. But there's something special about Pearl White... I can feel it! Anyway. Glad to be here. I've been learning a lot and trying to figure out what I want to do first (at least paint the diffuser, look into swift springs, and potentially some spacers... to start it off). |

Thanks a bunch! Love seeing all the tweaks everyone has done (and planned). Seems like it could become a bad addiction. =O I'm ready!

Glad you went with the PW. Welcome here. You will love ur swifts I loved mine.

Kickass! I think I'm going to paint the diffuser weekend. First legit DIY I'll attempt. Well, I sawed the trim off my original 300C with dental floss but... that's pretty simple. Hope it goes well. I'll post pics!

Indeed! That's one of the first places I came across after learning people even did that. Looks so nice (especially on PW!).
Forgot, I need to get some tint as well. My dealer usually tints everything, but they had to trade for my PW from another dealer. Oh well... the list is already getting bigger! |

As for tint, yea I probably won't go too dark. Everything in Texas is tinted and no one seems to have a problem with it. Long as it's not limo tint I think I'll be ok. |
Congrats, welcome to the 13' club!

Welcome!

Congrats and welcome to the forum!

Congratulations!! It's so exciting getting behind the wheel of the Z. I would recommend window tint first, rear diffuser, fangs, and then black top to put it all together. PW with black top is so damn sexy you need to do it lol. After that I think you're set on looks! Maybe you might pick up a lip kit one day or some springs etc but you'll feel much better with those little things done. Can't wait to see the pics!

Nice!! PW is just the best!! :P and you should just plasti dip the rear valance. That's what I did with mine :) like you said, blacked out valance looks super dope on a PW! I'm also looking into picking up some swift springs as well. How do you like 'em so far? Were you able to get the camber near factory specs or did you buy camber arms?
