just bought a new 2011 Black 370z/spt.pkg.
 

Before I give you the price please understand I've owned nissans when they were called Datsuns. I have many friends at Nissan. I was going to buy a 2012 till a friend called & said he would give me a fantastic deal on a new 2011.
msrp $35,500, I paid $28,900 + tax,dmv & new plates. OTD $31,570.
I think that's a great price. Will pick it up tues.

Serious question - There was quite a bit of shifter vibration. I was told it was normal. Is it?

I've never noticed any significant shifter vibration on mine. You might want to have that checked out. I'm sure warranty should cover any issues like that.

I have a 7AT so I can't really say anything about the shifter vibrations.

I didn't notice it in my 2012 wish stock shift knob.

I think if you put a heavy shift knob it will deafen it down a bit.

I think it is normal. The shifter vibrates but it is the engine that is doing it. It is not as smooth as my 08 HR, but the moded 370's are producing on avg. about 30 H.P more. So even though it didn't feel that fast, with 30+ more H.P. might make it very interesting. My 04 pure stock WITH Nitto 245/17 did 13.8's. My 08 pure stock WITH M/T 275/17 radials did 13.3-13.5. I wonder what I can do stock with the 370. It's not an automatic so I don't think I'll break 13 seconds.
