Found another WTF is this thing?

I have had the 2009 Magnetic Black for about a month now. Seems like there is always something new popping up. This time I decided to dig around in the rear and see what kind of spare tire etc. was back there. When I lifted up the panels the first thing I see is this large round object sitting on top of my spare with wires coming out of it. I thought " Aw man its a Flux Capacitor ". I then notice the word " BOSE " written on it. I am assuming this is an amp or something, am I right? Thanks

It's the subwoofer used by the stock system.

RTFM!

Haha, Bose subwoofer. You have a Touring?

Yeah, the other day I was sitting at the light and all of a sudden had this burning sensation on my back, turns out I hit the heated seat button without knowing it, scared the hell out of me. Never had a sports car with heated seats, seems kind of useless to me.

I did RTFM but only the important parts not the ******** voice command, bluetooth, phone calls, , and audio electronic parts that make up 80% of the manual. There is a frigging knob and buttons right in front of the shifrt to control the audio, don't need to control it from the damn steering wheel, God there's a bunch of lazy f--kers out there.

It's not about laziness...it's about keeping your hands on the wheel.

Hahaha, did you notice the car also has headlights and windshield wipers. Wait till you also discover the power seats.

I like how the guy that doesnt bother to look anything up in his owners manual or do a simple google search calls the rest of us lazy fckers.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you were all lazy fckers. Its just that everything is geared toward making the car an extension of your living room. People lose tract of the " driving " part. When I take my car out I am 100% concentrating on the driving, no cell, no eating, etc. To me driving is my passion.

KingZee 05-30-2012 09:24 AM

^ well, the buttons on the steering wheel are actually to help drivers focus more on their driving by keeping their hands on the steering wheel than messing around with their stereo.
