Going to Pick Her up in About an Hour
Really excited, because after waiting 3 years I finally pulled the trigger and will be picking up a 12 370Z Touring roadster in black Cherry with nav. I got an automatic, which is not my first choice, but living in DC and dealing with traffic here doesn't make an ideal situation for a manual transmission.
I go an awesome deal on the price and took advantage of the 0% financing. They had to bring the car up from a dealership in NC, so my patience was tested. I figured after 3 years, I could handle another couple of days. Anyway, I am happy I found this forum and am glad to join the sacred world of Z owners. :D |
Congrats!!!

congrats man, just make sure you go over the whole CAR! When I picked up my '12, splash guards were not installed, car wasn't prepped or detailed etc paint hand tons of swirl marks etc, I told the dealer not to touch the car lol.

Congrats! I know the month or so I had to wait for mine to show up sucked. Love that Black Cherry color too! I bet you're having fun already. :D

Congrats! I know exactly what you mean by being patient. I've been wanting a Z for years now and I finally had the courage and the financial means to pull the trigger. Come back with some pics!

welcome! you're probably out driving, but how did it go? Waiting makes it more satisfying, doesn't it?

Thank you all for the congrats! I so love the car. Had the top down on the way home - thankfully the weather held out.
I will definitely post pics soon and thank you for the info about meet ups. The car was in fantastic condition when I picked her up and the dealership even left her inside their bay area to make sure nothing got on it after they detailed her. I really am happy with my buying experience at the dealership I used. I met the technician that will do any and all work on my car and he was very nice as well. I didn't realize that you have to watch the RPMs for the first 1200 miles. I was a little paranoid to say the least on the way home as it's hard not to want to completely open her up. For the sake of the car though, I will spare her until I take her back at the 1200 mile mark and get the good old thumbs up. |
