Finally Got Her
 

Hey Guys( and the few Gals around)

Took a few weeks, but finally got my new 2012 Z. Red 6spd Touring with the Nav, just like I was looking for. Big rep to Joe at Koeppel Nissan in Queens, one of the site sponsors. My local dealer on long island told me they would find me one, and after 2 weeks of them telling me no not yet i decided to send Joe a message here. Needless to say, he found it for me in 2 days in ct (so obviously my dealer wasnt really checking). Would definately recommend anyone to give him a call, great guy and easy to work with.

And since I know ill get the pics or gtfo sign soon....

Welcome and congrats! I was just actually speaking to Joe and he was telling me he just sold a Z somewhere really far out on the Island, I'm guessing that's you lol. Joe is a really great guy, helped out so many members here and I'm currently working with him.
I had to point it out, that front plate drilled on hurts me lol. Good luck man maybe will see you around the Island.

Yeah Lake, im alllll the way out center of the island in suffolk lol I had no choice on the front plate, the dealer in ct already had it drilled when joe contacted them, cause i def mentioned it. if you got any ideas on what can fill the holes im open to options. If anyone meets up, i drive to wherever lol Def wanna get to know some of the local guys

Rare color combo honestly esp with Nav! Great car:) Whats your plans with it? Yah seems like dealers dont wana move cars sometimes, can drive ya nuts when you want the car!

Yeah defiantely seams like it is Niche... Koppel said theyve never actually had a red one before. Not sure plans yet, just the basics for now, intake, exhaust, etc... maybe save my bonus checks and go turbo next year

Congrats! My car came from ct as well :) except the plate bracket was not drilled yet, I was so happy because I told joe specifically to make sure they dont put the plate bracket if it was not done already, def looking forward to meeting more local guys

You could cover the holes with a CF upper trim cover from the Z store.

oh those guys lol. Well long story short I went to their dealership when I was in the process of buying my 370, and I told them I was looking for a red 370 base or sport, and they ran a search for me for almost 2 weeks, and told me there were no red 370s in all of new england.

So I jump on cars.com, and I found my baby (red 370) in NJ> :rolleyes:


Go figure, and I guess dealership systems aren't always updated with new inventory, orrr they were just being dickheads. :icon17:

Yea I did not deal with them though I got mine from koeppel, they just rand a search and they happened to have the car I wanted since the one they originally were getting from jersey was sold, I did get the same answer though no white or red available with sport and nav and I did my own search too
