The 07 was an ok car, the 2010 was a much much better car. if id have bought another maxima though id gone for the SE/SL what ever they are calling it now, vs the sport. the low profile tires made bumpy roads tough to bear. not to mention the body had to much roll for any real sport riding. That being said on the long and narrow, it was awsome. it was a joy visually to sit in every day and it got 24.5 mpg no matter if i was on the highway or city. In just a bit over 2 years i put 47k miles on it

Congrats! We love noobs here!

Congrats!! Hey whats a sports package? Australia doesnt have that option.

ShinyBlueZ 04-15-2012 10:27 PM

Umm the sports package here gives your car the 19-inch forged alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, a viscous limited slip differential, larger sport brakes and synchrorev match with the manual transmission.

Do the Aussies not have those options at all? Or is it all just standard? Or has to be added on separately? It would suck if you guys just had no way of getting any of those things at all!

jofro6 04-15-2012 10:28 PM

Congrats :)

I believe Austrailia gets all the sport package features excluding the Rays wheels. All come with base 18's

Actually mine came standard with all that? Mind you it better as the rrp here is 83k. No 18's here..... 19's all the way. For memory it was do you want an auto? Do you want mud flaps and do you want mats? Yea so can you get them without a sports package too? No lsd would be kinda s**t. Also has sat nav and all that media stuff. Does the us model have a 10gb HDD you can rip your music too?

ShinyBlueZ 04-16-2012 12:24 PM

Yeah with the navigation package.. I think it's a 20gb HDD though. Canada > Australia! :P

My phone's gps is 10x better and has tonnes of music.. so I skipped the $1000+ nav package.. but now thinking back on it.. I wouldn't have minded the rear camera. I might install one myself eventually but looking in the DIY section.. it seems a little too overwhelming for me to take on right now hehe

juicypinkkk 04-16-2012 12:29 PM

grats

jlo370z 04-16-2012 10:27 PM

Thanks everyone, this car begs for corners, I must give in to its needs!! LOL
