Just purchased a brand new black 370Z

I been lurking the site while deciding on what car to purchase and go with. So since I finally decided on purchasing the entry level 370z model, I chose to join up. I really like the site so fare. Anyways a little back ground, this is the most underpowered sports car I have ever owned but I wanted it that way for a reason. I owned a 2003 Mustang Cobra that I made over 700RWHP on nitrous and Kenny Bell Blower,

and a 2001 Corvette Z06 that I recently sold that made over 500RWHp with a 402 block, heads cam ect,

So I sadly sold the vette and started looking for around 2months for a replacement car that was better for daily driving. I really liked the Infiniti G37 but they were too expensive brand new so I would have to get a 2008-09 to fit into my budget. So I kept looking and even considered going out of state to by one but I always liked the Z's and even looked into getting one when I bought my 03 Mustang. Those were the 350's at the time. So I waited months to try and find the right," DEAL" on the G37.

So I started looking at the brand new 370Z's and noticed that they were going for around $30 new. Nice, right about where I wanted to be with my budget, little less options but I never owned a new car in my entire life, and Nissan just announced 0% interest financing. So I looked around and Ricart Dealership in Columbus OH had 3 base model 370Z's. 2 were gray, one was black. They were asking around 31500 if I remember correct for all of them. SO after hours of bulls&&ting around, I talked him down to $30,500 and tried to get them to trow the kick plates in for free on any of the models but said he would only do it on one of the grays since he had to. But I decided to go with the black one since I really like that color and ended up just paying for the kick plates anyways.

So I ended up buying an 2012 Nissan 370Z Black on black base model. I do plan on having a navi system installed soon as the factory radio is awful. Did I get a good deal? What are the must have mods?

Anyways, I'm really enjoying my purchase and look forward to taking more pictures. I look forward to finding out why this car is so great, although I'm a tall guy and felt a little uncomfortable at first but now I'm really liking and getting used to the smaller space.

Few pictures and more to come,

sounds like a decent deal to me :) congrats on the purchase! I'm tall too (6'4") and I had a bit of trouble fitting in the car until I adjusted the seat down some, now everything feels fine. You'll be amazed at the handling this car has while still having a very smooth ride that's perfect for DD. Let us know what you plan on doing with it!

When I clicked on the thread and the first pic that loaded was a Mustang, I thought It's a Trap! :rofl2:

Nice selection.

Thanks everyone.I wondered if I should have went lower on the price but it was only around $500 off dealer invoice cost, per trueprice.com. The current market price was 31400, don't see how I could have got a better deal and with 0% financing. Can't lose. Not planning on doing to much,I say that now but haha, who knows. Starting out swapping the stock radio for a aftermarket navi system. Will post pics.
