lol my last car I bought was also in NY but Syracuse. I flew to Rochester where my mom and aunt were living and they took me over to syracuse and I also drove it home solo and folded down the back seats and slept in the trunk/back seat lol. Im ready for another trip but for a meet or something, if the fiances job takes us down to south florida, omg every meet im there! lol

Which one is it? Is your Z parked in your driveway? ;)

Bigchanges, where did you get your LEDs from?

Hey Huck. I read some reviews on another thread on this forum some time ago and got them at :

Nissan 370z LED Light

You won't regret them. It lights the rear plate area perfectly, like an LS460 but slightly more color. It's not as blue as the picture I posted earlier though. ;)

nice little touch, well worth it! Wellington I see, such a classy uptown area. My fiance had a job lead going down that way, dont think anything comming of it but hey, it was a start. Yah, after you folded the backseats down on that car, it was pretty deep in there so you could lay flat all day long and have room. It was a 4 hour sleep anyhow, nothing too extravagant, done many of those on long hauls up north!

theBigChanges 04-07-2012 09:48 PM

You sir are an easy sleeper...I couldn't do that even when my brother was driving and I had ear plugs on lol. How were you able to tell I'm from Wellington? My bio just says "Palm Beach" ?

Looks like you had a great time! My boyfriend wants to do something like that sometime.

..If it's planned out ..you'll have lots of fun. The Z is a good road trip car in it's stock form. If you had an exhaust, lowered and had a bunch of mods that you'd have to worry about ... I don't think it would be tolerable (at least not for me) on long long drives/road trips . Go enjoy!

Yah I got alot of amazing hookups when I deliver the mall as the second guy out there every christmas season because they all know me. Ive saved a few grand buying fancy jewlery for my fiance from Kays just cause the know me so they give it to me at employee costs. Id love to live in your area though, heard its an amazing town. Came from the Ft Laud/Hollywood area myself as a kid.

Sweet that's where I got my DRLs from, I'll have to get the rest of the set.

I agree about the road trip, the Z is a surprisingly comfy car. I bought it expecting it to be a bit harsh (and I was cool with that) but my drive back from Rochester was nothing but comfy and enjoyable. I even took a 3 hour catnap at a rest stop and that was comfortable. Well, except for the fact that it was like 27 degrees outside and I'm from Florida. Thank god I have a jacket fetish and had 2 winter coats with me

My area is ok. Ideally I'd like to move back to the bay area (California), which is originally where I'm from. However it's just way too expensive there and suprisingly cheaper here. I actually might be coming up to Pensecola to visit my best friend which is an officer/pilot in the Navy stationed up there for training. I've only been to Pensacola once and was during this Amarillo trip when I was passing through. :icon17:

Agreed. Unless you have mods on the car, the road trip is pretty comfy. When I got to Dallas to stay the night during this trip it was about 37 degrees at night and that was cold as hell. I had a good coat though.

I've been reading about Swift springs, from what I've heard so far they perform better than stocks as well as increase the comfort factor a little bit. One review I read said that everything felt a bit smoother and evened out some of the bumps in the road a bit, which is surprising for a sport spring like that. It's definitely on my list of things to purchase, and that list is growing by the second :(
