If you really nailed it on the straights and hit some high speed they'd probably tag you, but maybe not. Now if they saw you crossing the double yellows they'd tag you... instant reckless.

It seemed like a fair system this year, definitely.

they just have no passing on the yellow lines during Zdays so mustang owners have an excuse to be behind z's and don't have to admit that they just suck and can't handle in anything but a straight line :p

Its nice that it seems they try to grant you a little leeway so everyone can have a good time. They must know that it is a highly desirable area for driving enthusiasts and dont wanna drive the tourism away. I agree, let the people have fun and drive a little fast but dont endanger others by crossing into the other lane. Seems very fair. I hope the same mindset is in effect next year.

When I was at the Savannah Z Convention I heard about that run.. We out here in southern California have several like that probably the most famous is Palomar mountain..

Great idea swinging the camera,,, my little nephew likes to shake the camera to simulate an earthquake,,, maybe I could swing it and shake it to simulate driving the twisties during an earthquake. Here in So Cal there are TONS of them and very few Z's they all want to run us on the street, they have the edge,, in the mountains they won't follow, so we each have our area of success I also have several Z's from 240 up to 81 turbo,, now with the 370,, still love my old cars..

So relax and enjoy...

I grew up with V8 power in the sixties I know all about POWER 10.7 in the 1/4 mile with my 67 Chevelle. You really need to relax I am PLAYING and you are going for it.. Mustang 5.0 is a very nice ride. I am also from the east coast, NYC , that might help you to understand what is really going on here,, Ride on brother!!!
