My first Z!!

Hello everyone I just bought my 11 370z black 6mt almost 2 weeks ago. I live in sw VA and have only seen a couple others z34s around, I hoping to meet some other z owners. Anyways I'm in love with her and I get a stupid grin on my face every time I get behind the wheel. I do have some basic ideas and plans that I hope to get started on soon

Congratulations! That color is my favorite! What a beauty!

Thanks I hope to have a CBE and G3s ordered very soon. Are there any members in the swva area?

Congrats and welcome!

It's too bad you are that far down south... we have a really active Z community up here in NOVA. But Roanoke is a nice area with lots of good roads. I used to live out in Radford when I was going to school.

There are a ton of 350s but only maybe 2 370s here in Roanoke that I've come across. I know nova and seven cities areas both have great z communities, just wish I was closer to them. I actually just got off the phone with Tony and ordered the non resonated exhaust which I cant wait to get! I'm still on the fence on what to do intake wise, but I wouldn't mind a new set of wheels either.

If you are ever up this way let the NOVA crew know. Even if it isn't a meet day we are always looking for an excuse to roll out and grab something to eat. :D

I most definitely will...where in nova are you guys from? I go to Harrisonburg occasionally and sometimes Woodstock or Winchester for work.

Richmond has a Z club. No affiliation but their site is Richmondzclub.com

Most of us are in the Fairfax area. We have lots of members there as well as a bunch around the beltway in MD. We alternate meetings between Fairfax, VA and Columbia, MD.

Congrats on the Z

Glokwork 06-10-2011 03:02 PM

Thanks! I might have to make a trip up there sometime soon I hope. Ordered my CBE from Tony yesterday 9 week wait ughhhh I want it now! Still not sure what to do intake wise, I'm not very impressed by the G3s or Injens CAI....I'm getting restless and must do something to the Z now. I need to replace that shift knob asap but trying to settle on one and probably go 20% tint here soon. Gotta drop it at the dealer on Monday for 3 days while they repaint the front bumper

m4a1mustang 06-10-2011 03:06 PM

The G3s are the best as far as performance goes.

RandyD 06-10-2011 03:07 PM

it would be a nice ride out to Winchester... maybe this fall to one of the apple orchards... (nice roads out there)

Glokwork 06-10-2011 08:14 PM

Yep I was gonna buy the G3s but cutting my core supports is permanent and ugh I really want to avoid that. The Injens are nice but the washer bottle ordeal although reversible, keeps me from going that way. Both systems filter locations aren't exactly ideal either for max cold air induction, hopefully somebody will come up with a better design...but thats another thread.
