New Owner: 2011 Z
 

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2011 Monterey Blue 370Z 6MT w/ 27 miles on it.

Got it for 30,600 out the door.

So far my only mod plans are:

- remove my front plate (got permanent plates on the spot and dealer installed them luckily with no damage to the bumper)
- install a Pioneer P4300DVD head unit

Here are some quick shots I took with my iPhone -- sorry for the quality.

I'll get better ones up after a good wash/wax and sunny weather.

Congratulations and welcome aboard! When I saw you were in MD and it was Blue I thought you were the guy who bought the convertible blue one from Sheehy in Annapolis earlier this week, but yours is not a drop top so there is another one running around in the area as well!

I got mine from MileOne in Silver Spring.
What's funny is I spotted another blue one on campus -- coupe w/ sport pkg so there are at least two other ones running around!

I will def. try to make it out to some of the meets.

I have a friend who just took delivery of 2011 Grabber Blue 5.0, I'll try to drag him along as well. He was debating on picking up a white Z coupe or a GT and ended up with the Mustang.

We just have to avoid the attention of campus police... they have a habit of pulling me over for no front plate. Luckily I haven't been stopped yet in the Z but they have pulled me over twice and given me warnings both times when I drive my EP3 Civic Si to work.

It only seems to be campus police that care too... I never have been pulled over by PG/MoCo police for no front tags. UMCP police must not have anything to do. :shakes head:

On top of one of the parking garages might be a good spot. Can't think of anywhere else where we wouldn't be blocking traffic on the roads.

I went 6 weeks without a front tag when I first bought my Z and had no one said anything. That might have been because I had a temporary tag.
