Just purchased a 370Z auto with Sports package. Bright silver. We are in our late 60's. Come on you older folks, it really is a lot of fun. Looking for a deal on insurance. Paying to much for this 370 now. Any ideas. I will call AARP today.

Congrats on the new Z.

I just paid for mine today and will pick up tomorrow. I'm 53 and have reasonably good insurance rates for the Z through AARP (The Hartford).

I am paying a little over $1000/year for full coverage ($500 deduct) in Utah, but I don't really have a breakdown yet. Since I also added a 17 y/o male driver to my policy I'm not sure of his contribution to the $1000 increase. So for my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder (primary for 17 y/o), 2003 Subaru WRX, and 2009 370Z, total policy cost is about $2300/year. And the 17 y/o is covered should I be foolish enough to let him drive the Z. I don't have the policy details, but would be glad to share.

Forgot to mention that to get the best deals with AARP plan, you need to have your home insured with them as well. When I switched 2 years ago, my home rates went up about $200, but the savings in auto insurance more than offset that.

I did an on line quote thru AAA of Calif., the other day. Don't have a Z yet, I did it just to see what the payment would be.
My wife(54) and I(56), no tickets- no accidents-excellent credit, full coverage $1,200.00 a year.

^ Ditto here, $1,200 with the caveat that I told AAA, on record, that when the crash ratings are finished I want the bloody rate reduced!

Forgot to include!

The application inquired if we had taken a, "Mature Driver Improvement Course"! Nope, never heard of that! Maybe you can get a little discount!
