Finally Got My Z!!!

So after 2 years undergrad, 4 years of pharmacy school, passing the pharmacy boards, and finally landing a job with a retail pharmacy I'm able to afford one of my favorite cars of all time - the 370z.

Got it from Autobarn Nissan in Evanston, IL - 36,852 + tax + got double what my trade-in was worth + 3.25% financing... I think I got a sweet deal!

Without further ado, here she is, my red 370z touring, with sports pkg and navigation (more better-er pics to come soon!)

I was originally gonna get the 40th anny but when I came back to the dealer it was sold... I'm actually kind of glad it happened this way because the red 370z looks sooooooooooo amazing in person, plus I get to have the sweet Nav/music box! :happydance:

Congrats to the new Z. Nice HDR photos. What HDR software did you use?

mr_sparkle 06-21-2010 08:44 PM

I use photomatix pro 3.0 to generate the hdr image, then lightroom 3 for post-processing work.

How many exposures and what exposure? (i.e. -2, 0, +2)

Thanks,

WGW

Photomatix is a great program. I've tried the new HDR pro in photoshop CS5 but I think I still like photomatix better.

Also there is a plugin (it's for photoshop, I don't think it works with lightroom) called Topaz Adjust. Very sweet program with presets for a lot of effects.

Mr Sparkle, sweet ride and awesome camera work.

I use an old Sony Alpha A350 with a 16-105mm lens - but it really doesn't matter what camera you use it with. This effect is all software.

3 Exposures -2, 0, 2. That's why the leaves look a little messed up (because they don't stay still throughout 3 different exposures), but I could've just used one exposure and created a "pseudo-hdr" image that would've looked exactly like the others.
