Cold Start
 

I've had my 370Z for a week now and im noticing the cold starts in the morning are really loud. Not just exhaust loud but the engine bay makes all sort of noises. Squeaking, chatter, vibrating noises. It happens for the first minute after I start my car and then quiets down.
Is this normal for 370Zs?

The exhaust is normal, but the rest of the sounds are subjective unless we were actually able to hear them.

yes, just gets all the oil spread around the engine before you get it rolling so nothing gets damaged.

Mine does the same thing... it gets better so i just didn't worry about it..

initial startup of the Z is probably the worst i've ever heard, but for me it lasts about 20 seconds and then quiets down significantly.

^^ LoL its the worst ive heard too thats why im asking.
Im starting to think its common and i shouldnt worry too much

mine was like this until I put on CBE/HFC, now it sounds fine.

there's a ton of stuff going on under the hood as well..

I know what you mean, I had that too when stock, but I swear the car sounds normal now at idle when it is cold started. I don't believe it's because my exhaust is covering up the sound, I have a fairly tame setup.
