Question to the auto 370z owners....

I have done less than 1000kms and around 200kms when I got the car the auto gear changes felt nice and smooth and from stop to acceleration first gear felt great like it would hold the gear and rev right out. But now the gear box feels a little clunky like it jolts into gear. Even this afternoon when I was cruising at about 40km's it changed gears and watched the revs drop to 0 then clunked into gear and the revs jolted back up.

Is it just me being paranoid with a new car or is the gear box learning my driving pattern or is the gear box wearing in still?

I spoke with my Nissan dealer and they said they will have a look at it at it's 1000km service, but any advice would be great.

Thanks
Ryan

I've NEVER seen my car hit 0 rpm.....unless it's parked and not turned on. Sounds rather odd to me.

Hasn't done it to me, but I don't even have 1000 mls. on it yet.

Hasn't happened to me and I have just a hair over 2000 miles. Take it to the dealer seems like somethings up

I'm at 4700 miles on my 09 and I haven't had anything like that. I would get it checked out asap.

I think im just being paranoid, I had a Murano before this car, gear box was super smooth but sometimes jolted like this one, but because I just got it im so conscious of how i throttle the accelerator that im looking at everything.
Haha, no the car was not in park when it dropped to 0rpm, it's like when a car stalls and the revs drop right down, just think like that, it was cruising along and when it changed gears the revs dropped down and back up like it wasn't a smooth auto gear change.

Thanks guys
Cheers
