Tip flush your clutch fluid as best as possible you don’t want to contaminate your new fluid. Depending on your mileage this is the best time to consider upgrading your clutch and flywheel. Follow the instructions correctly rather if you get the Z1 or Z Speed CSC Delete Kit they both will work if installed and used correctly. Ask for your old parts back after your install. Depending on how fast you are capable of working these kits can be installed in 2-3 hours depends on you or how is doing the labor. I installed these kits in two hours and did my own work. Rep?

That's false. You will have to remove transmission for the install.

ZSpeed offers both an internal (inside the bell housing) heavy duty slave cylinder option and an external option with the slave cylinder mounted to the outside of the transmission housing. From my personal experience with the Z1 kit (having to adjust the slave as well as deal with poor quality parts), I would recommend either ZSpeed option over the Z1 kit. I have since purchased the ZSpeed CMAK.

Yeah, as others have mentioned also.. the CMAK kit is good stuff, and Joe at zpeed is honestly great! Good customer service and very knowledgeable. Avoid using the clutch all the way to the floor when shifting.. i did a ton of reading into the csc issue and i found that to be a common.. it'll help, but honestly don't worry about it.. its not that expensive to get it fixed. whats going to cost you more is buying the parts. labor shouldnt be too bad

And yes, go in-depth into your warranty and see if its even worth having. A couple of my buddies told me not to bother with it but at the time i felt having the warranty was safer.. boy was a i wrong lol they almost cover nothing... and if you get lucky and find something they DO cover.. there's still another set of separate conditions to determine if they will fix it lol.. Nothing is worse than dishing out a ton of money for warranty and STILL having to pay out of pocket when something goes wrong :shakes head:

Congrats on your Z purchase and enjoy the drive!
You also might consider replacing the clutch pedal with the RJM Performance pedal.
Many owners do not like the way the OEM pedal "pops back" when released, the RJM version makes for a very smooth, easily controlled release.
This pedal is a remarkable upgrade from the OEM pedal and is a fairly easy DIY, just be sure to follow the detailed instructions from Ryan (the owner).

Thank you so much for this post I read through the thread and now I immediately want to buy the whole clutch kit. I need to save up for a bit though lol I need to not go broke.

I do really like what I see though and that Ryan guy really knows his product I saw how he was talking to everyone who ordered that was great.

As for the clutch pedal though it seems like it would solve alot of the issues I feel with the current clutch. I feel like I would love driving it so much more.

I like getting back into my frontier because the clutch is just so easy to engage compared to the z if I was able to engage the clutch like I can with my truck with the power of the Z behind it. Ohh Lord help me from getting a speeding ticket.
