What dealer did you by it from, & how was the overall buying experience?

I'm looking at Don Davis Nissan in Arlington, and Trophy in Mesquite.

Don Davis in Arlington is pretty good. Don't do trophy nissan in mesquite, look up their feedback. Not very reputable imo

got mine from Jerry's in Weatherford  highly recommended

Grubbs in Bedford was very nice and helpful, just couldn't get the Nismo quick enough.

STAY AWAY from Texas Nissan of Grapevine.

Why stay away from Texas Nissan of Grapevine?

There is where I got mine.

I went in there and had a terrible experience from their sales staff as well as sales manager. The best way I can describe this guy's attitude is Bernie Mac. They wouldn't let me test drive the car, and I had to push for him to get the keys so I could sit in one. At the time I hadn't seen one in person. I was told that they don't allow test drives unless you're "pretty much ready to buy." The sales guy actually took off for a while when we were in his office to go help another customer. I asked about leasing options and they told me how I could get one for $600/mo, the "top-of-the-line model, the one for $29,500." I wanted to sit down and crunch some numbers so I could estimate a payment and they refused.

Things to keep in mind.. I'm 27, decently dressed, clean shaven, and I don't wear a backwards hat everywhere I go. We showed up in my GF's '07 G35 Coupe. I walked in pre-approved for a $50k loan and told them that.

I went to Grubbs and they let me test drive a PW T/S/N 6MT right off the bat. The sales guy got with financing guy and they were able to print me out something that showed me what I'd be looking at with 3 different down payments as well as some different APRs. I found out as I was leaving that they actually stayed 30-45mins after closing to help me with all of this.

Both dealerships were told that I was ready to buy in roughly 30 days (not same day) and I was pre-approved for the loan.

I purchased from Don Davis in Arlington, Tx, had a great experience, they did not play a lot of games...got pretty good treatment and a good deal! :ughdance: Check all service deptartments before you make your purchase. The service department will be very important after the sale.

Would not recommend Trophy Nissan in Mesquite...played too many games for me....

The closest dealer to me is Urban Nissan, but after looking through their website, I feel I need to go to a dealer with a larger inventory. When I make it back to the states for my vacation in August, I might go test drive one, even though I'll be buying a 2012 model.

Oh well, some good some bad. I really hate that any dealership doesn't treat their potential clients like they might be the last.
But i say, "go to the deal, not a dealership." So whoever hooks you up with the car you want is the dealership for you. Not like we will ever talk to those guys again.
