Full Circle
Greetings and Salutations! My Dad gave me his cherished 1980 280ZX for my 18th birthday with the promise that I would pass it down to my younger brother and not sell it or trade it in. I kept that promise and we all loved that car and literally drove it into the ground!
Fast forward thru life of luxury sedans, Suv’s and a couple of Harleys, I’m back in a Z and loving it!
She’s a 2017 Sport with a 6MT I bought sight unseen off of CarMax. Has 12,000 miles on it (15,000) now and I’ve named her MZ DAIZY.
By FAR the most fun I’ve had driving in over 30 years! My Bro has gone on to a brand new Vette but still admits the Z is fun!
Mods so far are mild... clear bra on the entire nose, mirrors and rear flares along with a 55% window tint. ( being Yella is enough of a cop magnet) no need to push the envelope on tint.
Next week she goes in for a 34 core oil cooler, Stillen Gen III intake, platen, FI CBE, hood struts, a flash and Dymo tune.
Anyway, maybe I’ll run into some of youse guys soon!
