Traded in my 2015 Challenger R/T+ back in November for my new 2017 Pearl White 370z 6M Sport Package.

Been wanting this car for a long time now and now I finally have one :D

I’m currently living in SoCal. I look forward to speaking with and meeting some of you Z enthusiasts!

Funny coincidence, my situation (re: how I joined the Z family) is nearly identical.

I came from a ‘16 Dodge Charger (Plum Crazy Purple...loved that color!) and got the same model/color Z as you (cue the Twilight Zone theme). The Charger’s V8 was nice, but the car was missing something.

Your Z is coming along nicely.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the forum and the lifestyle, a paradox of things just right. Part retro, part track star, part muscle deployed in classic two seater. Enjoy.

Very similar! Lol Definitely, The 5.7 hemi was nice but it was honestly boring to drive. More of a cruiser for sure. I've never driven anything that excites me like this Z does!

Welcome! Recently got my gal as well. Young buck at work immediately challenged me to a race (both bone stock) in his 392 Challenger. I got em on reaction, and on 3rd into 4th. I have never seen a 6'4" young guy hang so low walking back in the door after that lol

Memphis370Z 02-13-2018 07:53 PM

Congratulations and welcome. :tiphat:

Welcome to the 370Z forums and congratulations. Do you have any plans for your 370Z? How unreliable was your Dodge Challenger?

Nice! Yeah those Challengers are super heavy. They do have a nice top end pull though

Only issues I really had was with my alignment and radiator. Seem's like it needed to be aligned way too often. Found coolant splashed in my engine bay after only having the car for 3 months. Warranty wouldn't cover it.

As for my Z, Currently I've done a resonator delete, swift lowering springs, and Rotiform 3 piece forged wheels. Plans are pretty much full bolt-ons and a tune over the next couple years.

I asked because I know a few folks at the track that traded in there Dodge Challengers for other vehicles because of how unreliable they were and reported a lot of problems with there Dodge Challengers were there ownership. On the other hand the 370Z is a reliable / dependable vehicle to own as long as you do all your required maintenance on it that is. I would put all your attention towards upgrading and working on your 370Z.
