Hey guys

Picked up my new 17 base Z 2 weeks ago. Been sitting in the garage since but cant wait for more nicer temp

I m probably older than most of you at 53 this friday but i feel like 20 when driving it

I had fun for 10 years with a 01 mustang gt supercharged with a V2SQ vortech. Now time to experiment the Z world

Cheers

Welcome aboard Speed!

I'm not a Young lad either although you may consider me Young for your age, i'm 44...;)

I learned to drive on a trans-am with a boosted 350 and knowing your background, you'll love the Z. It may not be the "punch your stomach in" type of car, but it handles like no other imo, although I didn't try the base model so maybe they're different a bit, but thats easily solved...;)
and you can't even compare the build quality to americans, but thats my opinion once again...;)

with a few goodies, I'm sure you'll find the Z to be an awesome car and besides, you won't see them at like every ******* corner like some other brands...cough cough...;)

Welcome aboard once again, nice group here, you'll like the forums I'm sure. and btw, there is no age for passion...;)

Welcome :hello:, 53 is not old around here. There are many in their 60s. I'll turn 70 this year. Enjoy the new ride.

Hey guys
Thx for the warm welcome

I ve been around severals forums in the past years and they always served me well and always did my best to contribute and help others

I had a few so call sports car in the past.

First one was a brand new Camaro IROC Z 86. Kept it for 3 years
Few years later, Acura integra 95
Then i was quiet until the 01 Mustang GT
Had it for 10 years and the last 5 years as a drag strip car only. Damn i had fun with that car

Best ET was 12.4 at 115. Auto tranny didnt help much

Went back to my school time passion and bought a Kawasaki GTR 1400 2008. Still in the garage and ready to fire up

But for the first time in 35 years of marriage, wife DOES want to ride in the Z.

Wife drive a 2015 Audi A4 sline. Nice piece of car also

Thats about it
