ya, mine was about 20 mins...worked the deal online, had check in hand when I pulled up. It would have been 10 mins if their only finance guy (who has to go through the paperwork with you even if paying in cash) wasn't already in with someone else...

i took a month and got mine 09 plat silver nismo for 36.5k OTD and i love it. my goal is to get GTR within 3 years from now.

congrats. Pretty much the same thing with me, did alot of work to my supercharged cobalt, dynoed it one day, only got 281whp...wanted to see 300whp. Went home to drop the cobalt off. Grabbed my ZX6R and went to the nissan dealership, took a Z for a test drive, signed papers...done in 30mins...lol.

i did this with my NISMO 350z a few years ago except i went from not even knowing i was buying to ... buying it about 30 mins.. salesman told me it was being unloaded off the truck.. so i drove my 2003 S-tune up there just to look at it.. took one look. didnt even test drive it .. traded my 03 in and drove the 07 nismo home in like 30-45 mins... got home and almost threw up because i had neve made a rash money decision like that before...


this summer i hope to make another 30 min purchase on a used one once they get low 20's

Congrats on the new Z! I did the same thing - found the exact car I wanted called over told them when I'd pick it up. They had the paperwork ready I gave them a bank draft signed the papers in less than five minutes spent another five getting the insurance and plates and I was done. Didn't even test drive it. That was about seven months ago and I'm just as crazy about the car now as I was then - man I love this car!

I took a bit longer. About 15 months longer. First I waited on the 2009s to be released. Then, I waited to see what the Roadster looked like in person. Then I waited to get a Roadster in my color. Now, I'm rollin' and loving it.
