Bought mine today!

I bought a Touring with sport and navi. The color is magnetic black. Unfortunately it's at a dealer 100 miles from me, and over the snowy pass. So I have to figure out a way to get my trade to them and get my new Z here by the 16th. :driving:

M.Bonanni 01-04-2009 09:12 PM

Nice! Congrats man. 6MT or 7AT?

shumby 01-04-2009 09:14 PM

sweet post the price if you want to in the price thread so we get an idea of what deals people are getting.

Slidefox 01-04-2009 09:17 PM

Wow!! Congrats!!

INTENSEPOWER 01-04-2009 09:20 PM

Congratulations on the purchase!!

Pushing_Tin 01-04-2009 09:26 PM

Thanks guys, it's a 6MT. The deal was okay, not great. I paid sticker, but I got nearly $17k for my trade which was very fair. This was the only car in the NW I could find with the options and colors I wanted. Having to drive over the pass is going to be a real bitch. I'm trying to find an a car transport company with an enclosed carrier for less than $500.

drmike 01-04-2009 09:26 PM

Awesome! Be safe on the drive, I know what it's like to deal with mountains and bad weather.

Well I have a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, so I was contemplating renting a carrier from U-Haul and doing it myself. But here in Oregon they put this red cinder/gravel stuff down and I'm afraid it will pelt the front of the car for 60+ miles.

Pushing_Tin 01-05-2009 09:54 PM

*update* My car will be here Weds night barring any blizzards or car accidents over the pass. Will post pics when I bring her home.

congrats. you must be excited. cant wait to see pics of her.

M.Bonanni 01-05-2009 10:03 PM

So jealous. I was probably 30 min. away from signing papers on one tonight and then the sales manager realized that the one I was going to get already had a deposit on it from a month ago. Now I am back to square one again. :(

18rgcelica73 01-05-2009 10:31 PM

So how much out the door did everything end up costing you? I am getting sports/touring/navi Monterey blue so I am very curious to know how much mine will be costing me.

I can't wait! I have a ridiculous car fetish, I purchase a new one every 1 or 2 years, but I'm really excited about this one.

The car will be filthy when it gets here, but I'll try and post a few pics anyway.

The dealer sent a pic to my cell phone, but that's it. They said they didn't have a digital camera there.

It will be here tomorrow though and I'll take some then.

Well it has a 6MT so I'm not sure that it's totally loaded, but it's exactly what I wanted as far as options.

18rgcelica73 01-07-2009 10:37 AM

^^^ I have a couple pictures of it up in my intro page as a new member. The interior is going through a complete overhaul and the paint will be redone but they are up.

I am going for the 6MT as well but all the options is what I meant. To me that is loaded.

Pushing_Tin 01-07-2009 05:48 PM

Do you mind taking your spare tire out and weighing it? And the sub if you got it ?

Pushing_Tin 01-07-2009 09:35 PM

Okay here are some pics. The car made the trip over the pass with no problems. The drivers said that they felt like celebrities though. On the road people were taking pictures, and when they stopped for food and fuel people swarmed the car. Even while it was being unloaded the other drivers were oogling her.

Unfortunately the dealer forgot to give me a temp tag so legally I can't even drive the damn thing. They are Fedexing me a temp tag but it won't get here until Friday.

The 17 mile drive home was in the dark rain with traffic so I didn't get to drive her too hard yet. I did manage to pass quite a few people though. I am busy at the moment, but will post some more thought later tonight or tomorrow. I plan to get her washed and cleaned up tomorrow and will take much better photos then.

ZRide 01-08-2009 01:18 AM

Niice! Congrats on getting her home safely! Now get those tags and drive.

18rgcelica73 01-09-2009 08:33 PM

I wrote up a review in the general section if you're interested.

I was in the Air Force, I was a weather man so I worked a lot with aviation and pilots and many of my friends were controllers. When I got out I went to college and got an aviation degree, less than a year later I was hired by the FAA. If there is anything specific you want to know send me a PM.

navcom46 01-11-2009 12:24 AM

Got mine today also, Graphite grey with black leather interior, Touring model, 6MT, leasing it for 36 months, dealer had $4000 market mark-up plus another $1000 for paint guard and wheels guard, which is a crock of s**t, which I refused to pay! I ended up getting it at MSRP! $35570

PG370Z 01-11-2009 09:28 AM

Hey Navcom where did you get your Z from? I got mine yesterday also PG touring sport navi auto from Redlands Nissan.

Namir 01-11-2009 11:34 AM

Congrats on getting her home safely!

18rgcelica73 01-12-2009 10:22 PM

I think I have decided against the navi package really just to keep the price down a little more.

navcom46 01-13-2009 09:24 AM

PG370Z,

I got mine from Long Beach Nissan!

navcom46 01-13-2009 09:25 AM

18rgcelica73,

I didn't bother with the Nav, not in this car, you got to keep your eyes on the road with that kind of speed!!!!
