Bought first Z, first manual car

So I recently bought a 2011 370z touring sport package 6MT. I owned an auto g35 before this. I've only driven a manual car a handful of times but I am fairly decent at driving manual. However, I have a question about the Z, in first and second gear, if I accelerate hard, I feel as if the shift knob moves to the right with some pressure. Just wondering if this is normal or if anyone experiences this....I know I'm such a noob.....but thanks in advance.
