I want to add a picture of Stark's house being blown up (as shown in the preview) on the bottom of this picture, but I'm too lazy. So you're just gonna have to imagine it. |
Anyone seen this yet? I'm not hearing good things from my friends.
|
Ya I haven't heard anything noteworthy either, no one going crazy.
I hear that he's not in the suit that much in part 3, anyways, I hope to go see it by the weekend. |
All I have to say is weak, wack, and lame! Seen it this past weekend in 3d. Avengers crushed it! But Olympus has fallen crushed that. Olympus Has Fallen is the movie of the year!!!!!!!!
|
Iron man 3 was Meh at best, avengers was by far the best movie I say so far. As for Olympus has fallen it was a good action movie but by far nowhere near movie of the year.

On it's own IM3 was good, but compared to Avengers and the 1st Iron Man, it was just ok.
|
I thought it was pretty good. I don't know what people really expected it to be. Plenty of action and a decent story based on the extremist series. Avengers set the bar pretty high so it's not really fair comparing it to that. I give it 9/10. Olympus was a fun movie, but that was mor in the realm of Die Hard...coincidentally the last Die Hard sucked donkey nuts.

Gonna watch this soon
Stark has his quirky personality, but even weirder are the people he has to play/surround himself with in the movies. But I will say he is Iron Man for taking a beating from that other guy in the last movie.:icon17: |
Just saw it in IMAX 3d (I hate the 3d part btw). It was awesome!
Although ****SPOILER****

Watched it today. The kids loved it.
But it was a disappointment to me. Got bored I I do love the Audi e-tron R8 though. |
I was really disappointed with Iron Man 3. Not as much as I disliked The Dark Knight Rises, but it begins to approach that level. This will sound like I hate the movie, but I don't. I'll buy it when it's out, but it's definitely less liked than the first two.
- Gwyneth/Favreau/Cheadle are useless and should have been edited out. Probably contractually need to be a part, but should not have been there. It steals time from the story they should have fleshed out. - Stark's anxiety attacks are an insult to anyone who has had an anxiety attack. Terribly written, terribly done, wasted idea. Good idea, just poorly done. - I had no idea what to think of the bad guys. What are their powers? How does one die? How does one not die? Are they just being shot and that's it? What about this other one? I see their eyes glow, but wth, man? - Clearly this was aimed a bit lower in the demographics with some lame humor and in useless kid in the middle. It really brought the movie down to a low point. - Stark has this great situation where he's vulnerable any time he's out of the suit, which adds real tension to the situation. In this film, he appears to be an invincible superhero even without the suit. Boo. - The movie should have focused more time and more of RDJ's acting on the issue of his place in the world being shaken badly with other super heroes, aliens, etc from The Avengers. This was hamfisted and badly addressed in such a way that I didn't care. Remove the useless characters and story bits from the beginning, rewrite or remove the middle kid section, and start hurting Tony...and you have a real character-driven piece which would be great for a third film in a series. - End action sequence was...meh. Also the plot resolutions at the end are pretty much tacked on, unnecessary, and unearned. - It's always been hard for me to buy Guy Pearce in a) strange costumes (i.e. the geek at the start) and b) as a bad guy. He doesn't pull either off. I wish he'd learn to do the bad guy, since I think he'd be great at it, but I'd expect this part just wasn't written with him in mind. Watch Lockout for a good role written to suit him. - I was really looking forward to some acting/dialogue 1on1 between RDJ and Kingsley. Really let down. - I didn't even understand until halfway through the movie that the terrorist actions were happening on US soil. I thought they were across the world based on the news footage, so I didn't understand why it was a big deal. |
Hulk much better than IM3
Dude's got a lot on his back. https://scontent-a-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/...78362536_n.jpg |
