I want a PS3 just so I can play the Killzone series and also finish the Metal Gear Solid series as well. Plus having GT5 would be a bonus as well.

Gen Info: Just started playing Multiplayer this week on MW3 (Lvl. 23), wanted to finish the Campaign first. Also got side tracked playing Survival Mode and Spec Ops for a couple of weeks. Usually play FFA when not playing with anyone else, but I am up for playing anything really.

So I've started to get really frustrated with MW3 lately. I'm not an expert gamer but a usually hold my own with a posative k/d ratio. Lately it seemed I couldn't do crap on MW3. Until my 12 yr was watching a game I was playing and hold told me that by watching the Killcam he could tell that a lot of people are using Modded controllers.

I've heard of modded chides and how Microsoft boots them off live, but modded controllers never.

So I watched video online and saw that they can shoot, reloaded faster, turn semi and burst rifles into full auto, jump/shoot and drop/shoot.

This is crazy and it seems that everyone has them and is taking the fun out of playing online.

I try not to worry about my K/D ratio much. I've watched some kill cams that made me wonder how in hell the person was able to kill me, but... I know if I worry about that stuff, I'll stop having fun. My roommate and I don't worry about anyone else on the servers ratio but we do compare our own lol

I was never impressed with how low the skill level in this series was to begin with, but hardware mods like these just make it mindless and bleed out what little bit of competiveness there was left.

Kind of sad because I thoroughly enjoyed the mess out of CoD4 and played tons of MW2 before the exploitation of bugs became prevelant.

What is the point. you think they'd be able to tell by how quick of successions the input commands are and be able to boot them. but why would anyone do this?

Why would an athlete take sports enhancement drugs? Because they like to win and it doesn't matter how. They are probably the ones talking the most sh!t too.

This is true. I don't understand how people consistently kill me even though I get first trigger pull and have a larger weapon, shooting them in the head but I die. :ugh2: But nothing pisses me off more than knifing. I NEVER win a knife battle. It's really frustrating because I "try" to be "good" at the game and have positive numbers. Of course then you get stuck on crappy teams so your w/l ratio goes down the toilet as well.

I'm not a rage quitter, but I do rage hardcore because of this. lol I may get beat, but I take the beating, I don't screw the other guys by dashboarding. :shakes head:

I just started to rage quit today. let me tell you it feels great. all the rage leaves when i quit. I just put down the controller, step outside, have a smoke and im good to go again :)

You do realize rage quitting counts as a loss and you don't get your match bonus right? So quitting doesn't actually do you any good... :ugh2:

And I'm fairly certain they have the same problem too. If it's a hardware issue like a modded controller, it doesn't matter what the game is.
