Han didn't die in Tokyo drift. His broken body was taken and re-created as a super-human cyborg known as "RoboDrfter".

But if you look at the second movie you will see that in a parallel time of the fifth dimension that Han was actually there the whole time.

I don't know if companies are lining up to provide cars for this movie like chevy and transformers. And they usually need several stand ins and back up cars (just in case the lead car hits a cop car that wondered onto the set).

Yeah, all the footage from the trailer is when they are in PR or where ever. From a lot of the early pictures there must be a race or something in the US type scene. Maybe it is the intro race where they all make a run for it?

We can say what we want about the movies but they do make money. The only good one was Tokyo Drift. It was still plagued with inaccuracy and terrible special effects but at least floor boards weren't falling out of cars...

The first movie ruined the import street scene and destroyed hundreds of Supras. The robot stickers.. the terrible robot stickers still give me nightmares.

I think most of this first trailer is footage from the shooting outside the US, all the pictures I have seen of the 370z I have seen are in the US.

There is a little short film Vin Diesel made or produced that was supposed to cover the events leading up to the last movie. I guess they're running around stealing gas trucks or something. I never bothered to check it out though. :D
