I feel the same way, but it is because my wife is driving it!

StLRedrider 03-23-2011 03:04 AM

Dixon, show up. Z or not still will be good to meet you finally.
2 years later we're finally getting some local members!

You know, the weekend before St. Patricks day there was a parade in Cottleville MO to which about 25,000 people showed up. In the parade, they had the Corvette club and the Viper club. Next year it would be cool if we could get a Z club to ride in it. Z's of all ages could go. Would be nice to represent the history of the Z car.

i am down for this. from some of the pics from cruises it seems that there are people in the STL area that have some old Datsun 240Zs and early 280Zs
I think one of the guys in the O'Fallon Booster club has an old 280Z. im not sure, he might have sold it when he bought his new Shelby GT500

Maybe Lou gets some ridiculously loud BOV on his new 300ZX TT. as long as its not a duck call

and i am catching up on your SC build thread this morning since not much happening in the OG conference room.

Man I can wait to see this too. Probably not as much as you but its pretty awesome you live local and I can see that thing in person. Your car might put me over the edge to actually do the head light thing on my Red 370

Im thinking matte black for the base color and do landing and ironman

dont know what i should do about the nike swoosh and the lamp surrounds
but they just look awesome!!:tup::tup:

Thanks hag, (I'm Wayne btw). I leave next Thursday to go see it. I can't wait. I will take the DSLR to take some pics, so hopefully I will get some good ones!! Sam said I should get it back in April or May. Gonna be sweet!! We have a whole year to plan. I'm in if we can get a group to represent. I would like to see all models too. I used to own a '77 280 Z. Loved that car, wish I still had it.

Hi Wayne, Im Andrew but lots of people just call me Hagen

Cant wait for the pics

dixon cider 03-23-2011 09:57 AM

Is Hagen your last name? I coached a couple of kids who played hockey in O'fallon MO with the last name Hagen. Relatives?

I'm a soccer player but my 3 kids play hockey and coaches were slim in the hockey world here. Soccer and hockey are similar in play and I have been a hockey fan my whole life, so I watched enough to know what is going on. My son's team hadn't won a game the year before I took over and we won the championship my first year coaching. So we were pretty excited.
