I'm going out of town for 2 weeks, but when I get back we should definitely set up a Sept, Oct. Fall cruise to fast eddies. I will check GatwayZClub's site to see when their FE cruise is also.

I need some advice. I know I have asked a few of you about oil temp issues but I am still a little concerned.

I drove home for the lake today and my oil temp ran 260+ almost the whole drive (2 hours). The more research I do on oil temp the more I learn that is should run 220-225 in most cars. I know there are several threads on this but I was looking for people I know to respond. PM is fine or respond to this. I appreciate your thoughts.

my z has ran hot once for what reason i have no clue just returning home from work. maybe use the search engine at the top of the home page and see what you can come up with. i will look

Dude it's 115 out! If you are not comfortable with it you can add an 18 row cooler. But then you may have to worry about getting the car to proper operating temp

yo, i've not seen mine that high, but fwiw, driving on farty far (44) today for a good hour got mine up to 235-240. This is only the second time I've seen it over 220. You should be fine

I made it to St. Louis this weekend for a wedding. Nice city... it's certainly interesting how some of your roads are higher than the buildings beside them :icon14: Anyway, for the guy up above... I drove all around the city this weekend and my temps never got above 220; and I only hit that on the way there and back (around 4 hour trip).
