So we having a meet before it snows?

The Z has not left the garage in a few days. So the wife and I take it up the street to grab some supplies for dinner. We come out to find that some jackass slapped a shopping cart into my passenger's side driver's door leaving a deep 5" scratch right in the middle of the door. (At Dierbergs off olive blvd.) Left no note or anything!

I will find the f ucker who did this and castrate them!

Soothing the frustration with an entire bottle of wine.

That sucks, especially when you haven't driven it in a while

This spring she will finally get new tires and I want to lower her.

Got to bring the Z out of hibernation today! God I miss that car. Can't wait 'til tomorrow when we do it again. My detail job (thank you Shane) got messed up with some bird poo but thanks to his awesome wax job it wiped right off.

Hopefully it stays dry and warmer out so I can drive it to work again next week. :yum:

Need to run something by you all. Last two times I drove my Z, when turning tight at low speed, I get this awful beating sound until I straighten the wheel. It happened turning out of my driveway this morning, and turning in a parking lot on Monday, both times it was very cold out. I'm on OEM summer tires. My Z is all stock (2011 with sport package). Anybody know what's going on here?

Sounds like it's just due to the hard rubber of the summer tires in the cold weather. They will scoot or skid across the ground when turing and make that sound you describe.

Yep, that's it for sure. I did some slow tight turns in a parking lot the other day when it was 46 degrees and no clunking at all. My tires were warm from the drive home, too. It's weird I never noticed it in previous years...maybe I never drove it when it was this cold. :)

Spotted yesterday around 4pm on northbound 270 ... a red sport (not Lou) rolling on what looked like 20" silver rims. Don't get to see many 370s around that side of town
