Man with this stupid damage caused by a lazy semi driver my turbo dreams are done for awhile. I'm at $2400 so far in total damage. That's without paint or install. Plus I have only been home for maybe 2 weeks total in the last 4 months. :shakes head:

Here is the damage and the new front end installed. It held from KC to STL so I did something right. It is currently being painted by Elite. I'm also having Mike paint and line my hood up. So it should be ready by Friday or Saturday at the latest.

Well, the mods for the Z have been on the back burner for a while as we have been working on the house quite a bit. After refinishing two bathrooms last year, this spring I pulled up the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and installed temple gray marble. It turned out awesome but made the carpet in the living room look like crap. About a month ago I pulled up the carpet in the living room, hallway, and stairs in one night of furious cursing at nail strips and carpet staples.

I found our oak flooring was in pretty rough shape and the stairs were even worse. Many of treads were broken and previous attempts to fix them included screws long enough to go through a 6"x6".

So I rebuilt the stairs leading to the door with new oak treads and risers and then rebuilt the posts and banisters. We then had the floors refinished and I finished the project with the iron balusters. All in all it came our really nice.

Here are some pics of the finished product, I will try to find some before pictures also.

Also,

We are taking a trip the end of this month and we are looking for someone to watch our Doberman. He is a giant sweetheart and we hate having to put him in a kennel. He is great with other animals as his best friend is our male cat and he gets a long with our female Chihuahua also. Even though she is the boss and puts him in his place at times :)

If anyone is interested please let me know. We can even compensate for your time.

John
