Just curious, there is a Windy City Z Club, Windy City Z Club. Was wondering what everyone's thought, comments, likes, dislikes are concerning this club. I am thinking of joining as it looks to be a great club for Z enthusiasts. Just wanted to get some feedback here prior to filing out an application to join. Thanks.

They are mostly older Z's (240-300) and in general the club members are more mature with most of them being well in their 30's - 60's. They are a good group though and have several events during the summer months. Most of their meets are in the south west suburbs.

Believe it or not I am a member. However im not really a regular their meets and don't do their cruises.


To be honest im not sure the membership fee is worth it. But thats just me.

I am having a meeting with GPS TrackTime to discuss working together this year and going forward. They will offer us discounts on track days if we have 5 people or more and I'm sure there is potential for more serious involvement from both sides.

I would like a few of you guys to attend with me so if you have questions you can ask.

When is the meeting?

Sounds interesting, will they be doing the full autobahn track or only north or south?

I'm about to sign up for the MVP even on June 3, it's the full track! But I am planning on doing a lot more track days this year, only got to do one last year...

Not sure which tracks, but these are all questions I can ask him. On our Facebook page we had 12 people respond as interested in participating in this. Can I tentatively count you in as well?

During the meeting I will find out dates, locations, track layouts, possible instructors, and prices. As I mentioned earlier, I am inviting anybody interested to come with me to meet them.
