By the way. First time I get pulled over in the Z.
Tiny burb called Stone Park on Mannheim Rd.
Early morning, with flow of traffic, but got lit up anyways.
He tells me right away; the speed limit is 30, you have illegal tint, and no front plate.
No ticket, but thats another story. Careful around that area.

Glad you didn't get a ticket. To be honest, I have only heard of Chicago and a handful of villages (mostly Elk Grove Village) giving people trouble for tints or plates.

What's your tint setup? He can't give you a ticket for tint without measuring it first since you're allowed to have 35% all the way around (minus the windshield) or as dark as you want in the back with nothing on the sides or front.

I've been pulled over for no front plate twice in two different cars, but never given a ticket. It seems like most cops just use it to remind you they are the one in power and could be mean, but they're going to be merciful.

I've had the meter maid give me a ticket in the city for "not displaying front plate properly." It was in the from windshield at the time; bought the front license plate bracket shortly after. Never got hassled for tints in the rear and sides when I got pulled over by the city cops or state troopers though.

800 miles on the Viper already. Almost as many as I put on the Z last year lol

I got 20% all around. No, he never did bother to measure my tint.
I really like how my 20% looks....I'll take my chances with tints and no front plates.
I wonder if the color of my Z has anything to do with being pulled over.

If I had to do it over again I would do 20% on the hatch.

Me, I would have never started all this fitness stuff that's taking away from my car time. Although, I'd probably be at least 50lbs heavier! :icon18::icon18:
