haha the extended 15 day forcast predicts 55 degrees that day. but i think that forcast holds about as much weight as me predicting what it will be

sboden 02-20-2012 09:21 AM

You are probably more accurate.....

edub370 02-20-2012 10:51 AM

Haha ok. my prediction in that case will be for 80 degrees and sunny

tower74 02-20-2012 03:21 PM

:tiphat:Raining and in the 40's...you saying it's gonna be sunny is putting a curse on that day.

tower74 02-22-2012 12:09 PM

I just seen a snow/rain mix for Tuesday

What did you do Richard?

edub370 02-22-2012 12:16 PM

haha still seeing 50's for the 3rd

tower74 02-22-2012 06:30 PM

I hope so I'm curious will all these tunes from STS what kind of hp i'm up to..

tower74 02-24-2012 10:36 PM

Well the new kit (UAM Amuse Replica) came in today...after chasing down the delivery guy...had to drive 20 miles to meet him to pick up the kit...It's not what I expected but still very happy. I'll have to get it painted before it can go on the car.:ugh2:
I talked to both guys at UAM (Mike & Andrew) and they told me that WAS the kit I had ordered. The full carbon fiber kit was around $4000+. So I'm good with what I got, however it does have carbon fiber accents. Looking like we will be test fitting the parts next week and then who know when to paint ( will be around another $1000-$1500:eek:).

Also the lastest tune from STS update....For the first time I was able to smoke the tires from 1st through 3rd:tup:

ZKraken22 02-25-2012 06:59 AM

where did you go for the retune?

sboden 02-25-2012 07:17 AM

I thought he was getting them directly from STS?

Yeah...I'm getting a new tune almost daily but yesterday was the first day I didn't. It was the one he had sent me on Thursday.

edub370 02-25-2012 05:11 PM

that thing should kill it at the dyno next week tower... if we have enough success to do this again next year, you'll have some more competition :stirthepot:

Yeah because I'm done with mods for awhile. It's starting to catch up with me.:icon14:

Just seen these roads on the STL page....WOW I've got to hit this road one day!!

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Bi...mra=ps&t=m&z=9

It was voted as the 2nd best road/drive in america

sboden 02-26-2012 10:14 AM

It must be pretty good to win over some of the roads I've been on in Arkansas.

I better get all my NC state taxes back its a huge chunck of change!

tower74 02-27-2012 08:34 PM

Same here....I have to pay to work in Kans-*** and pay to live in Missouri...All other states I work in do not require me to pay taxes to work in their state.

do you usually get a good chunk of your out of state back?

DIGItonium 02-28-2012 08:15 AM

A couple guys from Wichita will be coming. One has a G37 coupe and the other has a WRX - both stanced. So far I might be the only one getting dyno'd.

We plan to be there around 2PM, so hopefully that leaves a 1 hour window to get on the dyno. I just need an accurate measurement of boost so I can dial it closer to my target. It's pushing almost 9 PSI, but I've not had the chance to safely monitor it.

The car is running great. The fact the MBC keeps the wastegates closed longer helps with throttle response. I've got a low estimate of 430-450 whp and that's because of the HFC.

No I usually have to pay in to both Kansas and Missouri...This year I owe MO over $1200...Boss screwed up on the tax rate for all of us and now we all gotta pay...me more so than others. Still have to Kansass but I'm sure I owe them as well.:shakes head:

edub370 02-28-2012 02:01 PM

ya digi's gauge setup looks sweet. if you watch that ad astra vid on vimeo it has a clip of his gauges lighting up and whatnot. towers car is prolly the next best solution to swapping all the gauges on the dash pods. looks really good in the cubby area
